Introducing Mr Alan Smith

Learned Cornet in the Salvation Arny and played in Dance and Jazz Bands during his National Service.

Alan is a member of the Radio Newcastle Dance Band and various Palais Bands as well as a much-valued member of the Tees Valley Jazzmen.

The rest of his time is spent providing a worthwhile service as part-time trumpet teacher for schools in the South Tyneside area.
